The legacy of the beloved Mister Rogers Neighborhood lives on with the award- winning television series, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, from The Fred Rogers Company and PBS KIDS. Now, Daniel and his friends are hopping aboard the trolley to delight live audiences with Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood - LIVE! 

The grr-ific musical for little tigers and grown-ups alike is back with an all-NEW show for 2017-2018! The hugely popular Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood LIVE!, based on the #1 PBS KIDS TV series, has delighted live audiences on stages across the country. Now, in its third year of touring, your favorite characters are hopping back on board Trolley and coming to your town with DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD LIVE: KING FOR A DAY! Daniel and all of his friends invite you for a brand-new adventure in Neighborhood of Make-Believe where Daniel learns just what it takes to be King. The beloved characters come alive on stage to captivate you with new songs to sing along to, magical moments, and SURPRISE guests along the way! It’s an event filled with tigertastic fun, teaching the valuable lessons of kindness, helping others, and being a friend. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood tells its engaging stories about the life of a preschooler using musical strategies based on Fred Rogers’ ground-breaking television work. Through imagination, creativity and music, Daniel and his friends learn the key social skills necessary for school and for life.

The series’ stories were written based on extensive input from a wide range of early learning specialists, formative research with children and the benefit of more than 40 years of the work of Fred Rogers. It all adds up to a powerful tool for parents: an entertaining and thoughtful guide for today’s families that integrates music, interactivity and a research-based curriculum.

Jenn Rapp – Director
JENN RAPP is the current associate for THE ILLUSIONISTS, with runs on Broadway for the past three years. Director/Choreographer for Norwegian Cruise Line's LE CIRQUE BIJOU and PRISON DANCER at NYMF. She choreographed Community Works and SONG FOR A FUTURE GENERATION at Williamstown Theatre Festival. As an associate director to Stafford Arima, she worked on the MCP Lincoln Center concert productions of THE SECRET GARDEN and RAGTIME. Off-Broadway credits include BARE, LUCKY GUY, CARRIE and INDIAN INK. For companies such as Dreamworks, Nickelodeon and Disney Creative, she has traveled to numerous countries, directing original musicals from many popular cartoons. 

Jeremy Dobrish - Writer
Jeremy wrote the original stage adaptation for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and Clifford The Big Red Dog for Mills entertainment. His adaptation of Curious George, and his productions of The Teacher from the Black Lagoon, Virtually Me and Paul Revere tour the country with Theatreworks USA. He is a seven-time published playwright, and has directed across the country at some of the top regional theatres, as well as all over NYC where his productions have received several Lortel and Drama Desk nominations, He founded adobe theatre company, and is the co-founder of Midtown Direct Rep, in Maplewood, NJ. He has taught theatre at several schools including NYU, and is a Creative Director with Proscenium.

Natalie Malotke – Associate Director
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, (Choreography Assistant/Joshua Bergasse), Little Dancer (NYC Workshop with Susan Stroman), and Assistant Director on Really Rosie at City Center (dir. Leigh Silverman). Regional: Paper Mill Playhouse, Music Theatre Wichita, Pioneer Theatre Company, TexARTS, Wagon Wheel, and Jenny Wiley. TV: PBS’ “A Capitol Fourth“ (Assistant Choreographer). Industrial creative projects for Target, The Robin Hood Foundation and Nickelodeon on board NCL. Natalie is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and is on the Artist Board of Off-Center at City Center. Proud graduate: The University of Michigan .

Puppet Kitchen Productions – Puppet Design
Has been designing, building, performing, directing, and teaching puppetry since 2008. Recent projects include: The Little Mermaid (MUNY), The San Diego Zoo's Centennial Celebration, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (AUS, NYC, UK) The King and I and The Wiz (Maltz Jupiter Theater), and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (TWUSA). Daniel Lundberg – Sound Design
Designs include Fireface (The Brick), Freaks: a legend about growing up (FringeNYC), and The Ballad of Beckett Kruszynski (Kraine Theatre). Assistant design work includes Amazing Grace (Broadway), The Tallest Tree in the Forest (BAM Harvey), On the Twentieth Century (Broadway), and You Can’t Take It With You (Broadway). Daniel has consulted on sound systems for Cirque du Soleil, Franco Dragone Entertainment Group, and Universal Studios, among others, and toured the US as head of audio with An American in Paris and 42nd Street. JIM SANDEFUR – Scenic Designer
Primarily known for his scenic design for the landmark ’87 Broadway production of August Wilson’s FENCES for which he received the American Theater Wing Heyes Award for Excellence in Design, Jim prefers working in the many regional theater “families” across the country. Highlights of those regional productions include Citizen Thom Paine at the Kennedy Center Theater, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom at the Missouri Rep, Two Trains Running at the Pittsburgh Public Theater, and the American premier of Rough Crossings at the New Theater of Brooklyn. After a 20 year hiatus while using his skills designing corporate showrooms and special events for Barbie and other toy favorites at Mattel Toys, Jim is back at work in the theater once more, reestablishing his long time association with The Weston Playhouse Theater Company Vermont where he recently designed productions of Bad Dates, A Chorus Line, and Man of La Mancha. Having recently moved back to his home town of St Louis, Jim has most recently been working with St Louis STAGES where he designed Alice in Wonderland for the their Theater for Young Audiences and the Gateway Men’s Chorus of St Louis for which he has been assisting with the visual aspects of their concert seasons. Mr. Sandefur is a graduate of the SMU and Yale School of Drama design programs.

Isabel Rubio – Costume Designer
Mexican Costume Designer, who resides in Brooklyn NY. Isabel is honored to be part of the FRC & Mills Families. Mills Entertainment Projects includes Clifford The Big Red Dog National Tour, & Daniel Tigers National tour. Theatre projects include King Stag, Syracuse University. Theatre include Superior Donuts, director Mark Fleisher; Peer Gynt director Andrei Serban; Filming O’keefe directed by Martha Banta; Tick Tick Boom & Love Song, both directed by Gabriel Barre. Ballet Designs for Prima Ballerina Diana Vishneva, The Kirov Ballet as well as The Bolshoi Ballet. Film Designs: Mattie Fresno; Mexican Ariel Nominated Film NOMADAS with Lucy Liu. Nathan Crosby – Prop Designer
Nathan is a scenic and properties designer from Portland, Oregon. He has designed for several companies including Portland Center Stage, Theatre Vertigo, Nesting House, Broadway Rose Theater, and Portland Actors Conservatory which also happens to be his Alma Mater. Nathan is excited to be joining the Daniel Tiger Tour!

JOHN E. D. BASS - Lighting Designer
John has been lighting theater, music, dance and architecture in Los Angeles and around the world for over 25 years and is thrilled to be working on Daniel Tiger’s team again. Tour credits include Diavolo Architecture in Motion, Lilly Singh & as Tom Ruzika’s Associate on Peter Pan and Camelot. Past design highlights include The Soze Project at the The Apollo NYC & Azure at the Silverton Las Vegas. Architectural credits include design team for the Eastern Columbia building in downtown Los Angeles & Spring, a Claes Oldenburg sculpture in Seoul, Korea. John is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television.
