NINA MEEHAN (Playwright and Director) is an internationally renowned TYA theatre producer, award-winning director, playwright and dedicated arts educator. Her work focuses on nurturing innovation and connecting people in our increasingly digital world.

Nina began her career in theatrical work for young people as the founder and artistic director of  California-based TYA company that reached over 1 million audience members worldwide with national and international tours. She commissioned over 40 new musicals for young people, including the world premieres based on Chelsea Clinton's book, She Persisted, Grace Lin's novel, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, NYTimes Bestselling Press Here, Goodnight Goodnight Construction Sight, and many more.

She is currently building a Youth and Family Division for the Tony Award Winning Pasadena Playhouse. To launch the program, she commissioned, wrote, and directed Grumpy Monkey, the Musical, based on the books by Suzanne and Max Lang, which performed to sold-out audiences. 

She served as president of the board of directors of TYA/USA, the national organization of theatres for young audiences, for five years, during which time she actively engaged in outreach on behalf of the profession and the issues it embraces. 

Nina speaks and writes frequently about creativity, communication, and theatre for young audiences (TYA). Her work has been spotlighted in the NY Times, Los Angeles Times, American Theatre Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, Barron’s, NBC News, and CBS News. 

Nina holds a BS in theatre from Northwestern University. a Master's of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, and is working on her PhD in Creativity Studies.

AUSTIN ZUMBRO (Composer and Playwright) stands as one of the most prolific writers and composers in Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) over the past 15 years. With an impressive portfolio of over 30 plays and musicals, Zumbro has made significant contributions to children's theater. His acclaimed works include "Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site the Musical," which earned the TBA Award for Best New Musical; "Fly Guy, the Musical," licensed by the Susan Gurman Agency; and "The Day the Crayons Quit, the Musical." Notably, his "The Rainbow Fish Musical" won the AATE Distinguished Play Award in 2020. His most recent success, "Llama Llama, the Musical," has delighted audiences nationwide. Zumbro served as the resident playwright and composer at Bay Area Children’s Theatre for 12 years. He lives in Oakland, California with his two daughters (ages 4 and 2). 

P3 PRODUCTIONS (Producer) is an award-winning producing team based in New York City, led by Ben Holtzman (he/him), Sammy Lopez (he/him), and Fiona Howe Rudin (she/her). They are dedicated to building productions from the ground up to uplift new voices and communities. Recently, P3 produced JOB at The Hayes Theatre and How to Dance in Ohio at the Belasco Theatre on Broadway. They also premiered their New York Times Critic’s Pick production of the musical Gun & Powder at Paper Mill Playhouse and produced Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour on London’s West End. Their Broadway, West End, and National Tour co-producer credits include Just For Us, A Strange Loop, The Old Vic’s A Christmas Carol, The Kite Runner, Orlando, and Next To Normal.
